Couples looking for a cozy getaway
Had an amazing time! The breakfast was incredible, they started with a toast & pastry basket, juices and cereals, then you get to choose your main, I went for the homemade granola which was just fantastic. The staff were so accommodating, they really made us feel welcome and taken care of.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what we got, it was acceptable.

The literal historic charm shines through, with character-filled rooms and a quaint bar where you can grab a drink. The courtyard rooms offer a nice slice of peace, perfect for a getaway with your furry sidekick.
A loud screeching sound from the bathroom kept me up at night—definitely not ideal when you're trying to catch some Z's. Charging £20 for a dog without any extras feels steep, especially compared to other places that cater a little better for pooches. a treat or two would go a long way. The parking area is a tight squeeze, requiring some deft maneuvering to get in and out, and access to the back rooms involves navigating a narrow staircase that could use a good dusting.

The charming bar had character and offered complimentary drinks, adding a welcoming touch to the stay. Breakfast featured quality options, freshly prepared, making mornings feel special. The hotel’s accessible design made navigation easy for seniors, eliminating stress during our visit.
The rooms felt a bit cramped, particularly if you're staying for more than a couple of nights, and they could definitely benefit from an update. The absence of air conditioning wasn't ideal, especially on warmer evenings, impacting overall comfort. Parking is snug—tighter than a Wookiee in a stormtrooper outfit—so maneuvering larger vehicles can become an adventure in itself. The narrow and steep staircases also presented a challenge for lugging bags up, possibly making long-term stays less enjoyable.
